IF ONLY, IF ONLY

If only if only. If only what? Well if only the Zim Parly could name and shame the GMB looters, if only the Prime Minister would name and shame the corrupt ministers we have, if only the Anti corruption commission and the attorney General would persecute all the MPs who misappropriated the CDF money. If only if only, those are the thoughts and sentiments of many zimbos in and out of the country towards corruption. Mind you some high profile people were already named as saboteurs as they failed to pay Zesa in time.

We have to thank the one who leaked the Zesa list to the media because all of a sudden people started to realize that they have an obligation to pay Zesa where upon they started paying so why not follow the same trend, name and shame defaulters to encourage those in high places to pay to avoid embrassement.

With regards to Zesa and the defaulting clients we realise that most of the people suffering include the general populace and these are those that have not been able to procure generators, solar panels or even other means to provide power to their households and heavily depend on the ever reducing numbers and the ever increasing cost of firewood. One thing that l want to make clear is according to the Zimbabwean Constitution everyone is equal, we don`t have issues were some people being more equal than others as is the case in Animal farm, so if this means Minister so and so who has a debt which is more than what a town such as Karoi is owing let his electricity be cut off. This thing of saying he is a minister and he enjoys certain privileges is absolutely ridiculous and nonsensical at best.

If only the fat chefs and the so called looters cared!!!!
